Her first year at Diesslin Structures, Rebecca managed the Fouty Residence. The most unique feature about this home is the custom “brick” siding, made of aluminum and bent locally, per Rebecca’s design. Being a modern home nestled among old Salida homes, the owners and the architect did a great job of choosing colors and features to try and blend with the neighborhood, while bringing the area a new look. DSI’s in-house welder made custom steel guard rails with cables, and incorporated metal awnings to tie the house and the existing garage together. Being in downtown Salida, the design of this house beautifully and efficiently fits 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, with a cozy flow. A second story covered deck allows the homeowners to enjoy the weather and get above the city to see some mountains, and to enjoy the 300 days of sun this valley gets to enjoy. You can drive by it on your way to the golf course or Town Hall.
